With a simple HTML-code you can embed the web plug-in of a player (e. g. Windows Media, Adobe Flash or Real Player) into your website. It's recommended that you place the web-player into a pop-up window or into a frame because in that case it stays open when the client visits further links on your page.
Please note: The embedded player or player plug-in is only displayed inside the browser if the visitor has installed it on his PC. Windows Media and Adobe Flash are among the most commonly used players. Download links under: » Software
Furthermore we recommend that you always keep the auto-start function of the web-player always disabled. The visitors should tune-in to your stream anytime via clicking on the play-button or after self initiated request of a pop-up window where the player is embedded. Automatic play-backs of media content when joining a homepage are as annoying as unsolicited commercial pop-ups or SPAM emails. (Windows Media: autostart="0", Adobe Flash: swfpause=1, Real autostart=false.)

Embedding a Flash player requires the involvement of a so-called SWF application, the real web-player. Features and design of the player are done during the programming of the application. For demonstration we use the stream24's default Flash Player.
